I Didn’t Plan on Staying!

Mexico was supposed to be just another stop on my map. I arrived thinking I’d explore for a few months, take great photos, eat good food, and move on. But somewhere between early morning walks through quiet streets and slow afternoons at the neighborhood market, something changed. The daily hi’s and hello’s felt warmer, conversations lasted longer, and before I knew it, I wasn’t just visiting anymore, I belonged.

I came here to capture moments through my camera, but Mexico ended up changing me instead. The more I explored, the more I realized I wasn’t just documenting a place, I was slowly becoming part of it.
